Regulatory framework

Shirtaki Ltd. operates under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and the consumer-protection legislation of the European Union, in particular Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and the EU Geo-blocking Regulation 2018/302. As a Cyprus-based seller, distance contracts concluded with consumers resident in the EU are subject to the consumer's local mandatory protection rules where these are more favourable.

Right of withdrawal — limits for custom-made goods

In accordance with Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. This includes any garment printed with customer-supplied artwork, custom names, numbers or any other personalisation.

For such printed items the manufacturer's warranty under our refund policy applies instead: free reprint or refund within 30 days of delivery for print defects, fabric defects, transit damage or wrong items shipped. Photo evidence to info@shirtaki.io is sufficient — no return shipment required.

Blank, non-printed garments retain the standard 14-day statutory right of withdrawal plus an additional 16-day goodwill window (30 days total) under our refund policy.

Pricing & VAT

Prices on shirtaki.io are shown in EUR and include all applicable taxes. Cyprus VAT is collected on orders shipped within Cyprus. For B2B orders to other EU member states, the reverse-charge mechanism applies on presentation of a valid VIES-registered VAT number — please request a VAT-compliant invoice at checkout or via info@shirtaki.io. Orders to non-EU destinations are exported VAT-free; the recipient is responsible for any local import duties and taxes.

Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms and the use of this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the EU member state in which the consumer is habitually resident. Any dispute arising in connection with this website or our products that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the competent courts of Paphos, Cyprus, except where a consumer is entitled by mandatory law to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
