From brief to delivery in 5 steps
- Brief (day 0). Email info@shirtaki.io with quantity, garment type, sizes, print positions and your artwork (PNG/AI/PDF). Or upload directly via our Design Studio.
- Quote & mockup (within 24 h). You receive a fixed-price quote, digital mockup, production timeline and dispatch date. No quote expires for 30 days.
- Approval & sample (1–3 days). Approve mockup. For orders ≥100 pieces a free physical sample ships before bulk production. For ≥500 the sample is shipped DHL Express, included in price.
- Production (3–10 days, depending on volume). Printed in Paphos. Photo updates of first 5 finished pieces sent to your account manager. You can request changes at this stage at no charge.
- Dispatch & delivery. Tracked shipping to one or multiple addresses across the EU/UK. VAT invoice emailed on dispatch. Free studio pickup in Paphos.

Invoicing, VAT & payment terms for businesses
- VAT invoice. Every business order ships with a Cyprus VAT invoice (Shirtaki Ltd., Cyprus VAT number on request). PDF emailed at dispatch.
- EU reverse charge. EU-registered companies with a valid VIES VAT ID pay 0 % VAT on cross-border orders (reverse-charge mechanism). Send your VAT ID with the order — we validate it via VIES before invoicing.
- Cyprus-registered businesses. 19 % VAT applied; fully reclaimable on your next return.
- UK businesses. Orders ≤ £135 incl. UK VAT collected at checkout (DDP). Orders > £135 ship with no UK VAT — you self-account on import.
- Payment. First order: pre-pay by card or SEPA bank transfer. From the 2nd order: NET 30 credit terms available on request, subject to a quick credit check (1 working day).
- Pro-forma invoice. Available before placing the order — useful for procurement / PO workflows. Just ask for one in your first email.
- Currencies. EUR (default), GBP and USD invoicing supported.
Sustainability — printed locally, not flown from Asia
Shirtaki prints in Cyprus. Your hoodie is not flown 9,000 km from a Bangladesh factory and trucked across Europe. The blank garment travels once, from our EU supplier to Paphos; the print & pack happens in-house; the finished parcel ships once to you. Net carbon footprint per garment: ~1.8 kg CO₂e (vs ~6.4 kg for a typical fast-fashion equivalent shipped from Asia — source: 2023 Apparel Impact Institute baseline).
- Water-based, Oeko-Tex certified DTG inks. No PVC. No phthalates. Safe for children's skin.
- Recycled polybags & cardboard mailers — no virgin plastic.

Business FAQ
What's your minimum order quantity for businesses?
25 pieces per design. Below 25 you can still order — pricing is at standard retail rate via the product pages. From 25 pieces upward you unlock the volume tiers in the table above.
Can you ship to multiple addresses from one order?
Yes. Send us a CSV with name, address, garment, size for each recipient. We pick-and-pack each parcel separately and dispatch them with individual tracking. €1.50 per additional address on top of the per-parcel shipping rate.
Do you embroider, or only print?
We DTG & DTF print in-house. For embroidery we partner with a Paphos atelier — typical add-on €3.50–€7.00 per logo position depending on stitch count. Available on tees, polos, hoodies and caps.
How long do prints last on a uniform that's washed twice a week?
Our DTG prints on 240 GSM heavy garments hold colour through 60+ wash cycles at 30–40 °C (turn inside out, no tumble dry). For uniforms washed industrially at 60 °C we recommend our DTF process — measured to 100+ cycles before noticeable fade.
Can I get a sample before committing to a 200-piece order?
Yes — €15 for a single garment with your full print, dispatched in 2–3 days. The €15 is deducted from your bulk invoice. For orders ≥500 pieces the sample is sent free via DHL Express.
What file formats do you need for artwork?
Best: vector (AI, PDF, SVG). Good: PNG at 300 DPI minimum on a transparent background, sized to the actual print dimensions. We re-prep your file for free as long as the source resolution is sufficient. If you only have a low-res JPG, we'll tell you honestly whether it'll print acceptably.
Do you handle the design or only printing?
We print. For design work we recommend our Paphos design partners or you can use our free online Design Studio to mock up tees with your logo or text. Quote includes free professional proofing & print-prep — we'll fix small file issues at no charge.
What happens if a print is defective on arrival?
Free reprint & free re-ship within 7 days, no questions, no need to return the defective piece. Photo-evidence to info@shirtaki.io is enough.
Can you reproduce the same garment & print in 6 months for a re-order?
Yes — that's the entire point of using a single studio. We archive your artwork files, garment SKU, print positions and Pantone colour references for 24 months. Re-orders are placed in 30 seconds by replying to your previous order email with the new quantity.
Do you offer private label / brand-kit production?
Yes. Woven neck labels, custom tear-tags, branded polybags, custom mailers with your logo, optional thank-you cards. See our brand kits page for the full menu and per-piece pricing.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No retainer, no monthly minimum. Order when you need; we hold your files & preferences on file regardless of how often you re-order.
